Bio

Masoud Rastgar, a painter from Mashhad, has studied Illustration (Master's) and Art Philosophy (PhD). With over two decades of artistic experience, he has not only taught art but also held numerous group and solo exhibitions in various cities. Initially, Rastgar focused on decorative themes such as trees and textures, and in his cartoons, he critiqued the dominant power in society. Over time, however, he shifted his focus to portraits and the human figure within society. His artistic studies are centered on the question of how to create a space for meaningful dialogue in society, aiming to deepen human relationships and foster greater empathy among individuals.
